News > UKRI CDT in Safe and Trusted AI Welcomes its fifth cohort

The UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Safe and Trusted AI welcomes its fifth cohort.

This week, the CDT welcomed a new cohort of 20 students from across King’s and Imperial, all who share a passion for ensuring the safety and trustworthiness of AI.

The CDT was thrilled to be able to welcome the students with an induction session covering an overview of the Centre and their year ahead. This was followed by a social at King’s, where the cohort had the opportunity to meet their peers from across the other cohorts.

The CDT encourages collaboration and there will be plenty of opportunities in the year ahead for students to work closely together, such as in the creativity sandpit, masterclasses and in their training in responsible research and innovation.
