Professor Michael Luck, Director of the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in Safe and Trusted AI, is one of the expert judges at CogX 2021, a Festival of AI and Transformation Technology, taking place between 14 and 16 June 2021 in London.
The judges, described by CogX organisers as some of tech and global innovation’s most prominent change leaders, are this year addressing the question: ‘How do we get the next 10 years right?’ They have selected award winners from the innovators, visionaries and changemakers who have made the most significant breakthroughs or contributions to helping the world address sustainable development goals.
Professor Luck says: ’The aims of the CogX Awards are consistent with our goals in the Centre for Doctoral Training in that we’re both concerned to ensure the benefits of AI can be realised to help society rather than threaten it. We hope that our Centre’s focus on training researchers in the safety and trust of AI will provide candidates for the next generation of CogX award winners!’
