Amir is the Senior External Engagement Manager for the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in Safe & Trusted AI (STAI CDT). Based at King’s College London, his primary role is to leverage the research of ongoing STAI CDT students by connecting them with external partners.
Amir has worked in the UK research and innovation landscape for almost 20 years. He has worked in a range of roles spanning industry, research technology organisations (specifically the National Physical Laboratory ‘NPL’) and the university sector. One of Amir’s key expertise is building partnerships of mutual benefit, with an aim of helping progress early-stage science and innovation into the applied domain. Outside of work, Amir enjoys keeping up to date with current affairs and following sport.
