Lisa Rabanal is responsible for the Centre’s communications and engagement. Her background is in higher education management. Her skills include: running academic departments; recruitment and student experience; university strategic planning; project management; written, verbal, and visual communications. She previously worked at Goldsmiths, University of London and at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Lisa joined the CDT in Safe and Trusted AI in November 2020 on a part time basis. She is combining this post with PhD research in Sociology (human-animal studies). Across both roles, she particularly enjoys communicating complex ideas in interesting and accessible ways and organising seminars, workshops, and conferences.
